Black Book

Hi Creative peeps

Today's card I'm really chuffed with i think it's a mixture of the colour scheme (lovein' black & cream) and my colouring seems to have gone up a note some how maybe i was just in the mood to colour :o)

The card is 8x8 white card blank.
The vintage looking paper is from Echo Park Season's Greetings collection.
The little book is made from some old book pages and added some ribbon for the book mark.
The pom pom flower is also made from old book pages. The roses and magnolia die cut flowers are cut from cream card with a large black gem in the centre.

The Magnolia is called Tilda with stack of presents
She has been coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils.
The other embellishments I've used are some antique chain balls, diamante mesh cut into stripes,
ribbon and seam binding layered up with a pearl buckle and bow.

Hi creative peeps

I made the top 5 at MDUC last week with my wreath Whoo hoo! :o) Thank you lady's.

Well today i have another wreath to share as i mentioned in my last post i had my eye on some red papers well they didn't survive just had to start punchin' & cuttin'.
Here's what i came up with

Its a square frame covered in papermania home for christmas paper, then decorated with flowers made from the same paper. I arranged the flowers then filled in the gaps with more flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and some small ribbon roses and tulle. Covered the whole thing with white acrylic paint and star dust glitter.
The magnolia is called Tilda with snowy heart she has been coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils.

Halo Flower Wreath

Hi creative peeps

Todays card is not a card but a christmas wreath decoration/3D project which i really really enjoyed making, so you may be seeing another (got my eye on some red papers) lol!

To make the base i took a piece of 480gsm card (you can buy this in Ryman stationery stores). Then i drawed around a small plate and a bowl for the centre hole then i cut it out with a craft knife. Covered with pink paper and attached the small piece of ribbon for the center image to hang on.
Make lots of flowers and arrange before hot gluing into place.

The handmade flowers are made from Stampin' up and pink bazzill bling paper. Then i filled in the gaps with flowers from Wild orchid crafts and I am roses. Added white tulle and dabbled on some white acrylic paint and blinged it with loads of glitter :o)

The Magnolia stamp is called Halo Tilda (coloured with promarkers & prisma pencils)

Chilly Weather...

Hello creative peeps

Today's card is what i like to call a stand-up or hang-up card, featuring a shaker.

For the shaker frame i used half a craftwork cards fanciful card blank,
with a square aperture cut in the middle and glitter as the shakey stuff.
The paper is my minds eye and kraft card.

The magnolias are Snowy Hug & romantic window
(coloured with copics & prisma pencils)

I've added ribbon and lace so it can be hung up.

I have also added an eyelet to the shaker card and attached ribbon, lace, diamante mesh and a snowflake charm & beads.
The flowers are punch from white & kraft card then glittered.

Today i have a shape/pulley card to share, as the base i have used a Craftwork cards elegant square 203mm x 203mm card blank find them Here, which i covered with kraft card and my minds eye paper. The image is a saturated canary free digi stamp called Rose red, she has been coloured with copics and prisma pencils then highlighted with star dust glitter on her dress.

The flowers have all been punched out of kraft & bazzill bling card stock and been shaped, glittered and blinged.

Have yourself a merry little christmas

Hello creative peeps

Todays share is a double whammy :o) because i used the same papermania home for christmas paper i thought i'd put 'em together.

So first up the card
It's a 8x8 card with an aperture in the front framed with kraft card.

Here i have used an oldie magnolia stamp she is called cross stitch Tilda
as she matches the paper with the cross stitch heart on her dress, she has been coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils.

The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and i made some rolled roses and covered them in platinum glitter.

Next i've decorated the envelope.

This time i've used Tilda with hellebores,
she has also been coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils.

For decoration i made a small shaker tag from the papermania home for christmas tags and a Craftwork cards small silver frame and added a sentiment and gems.
The flower is Tim Holtz poinsettia die cut from kraft card and platinum glitter.

Wrap the paper around the embossing tool

Unfold 1 circle and flatten (this is the base)
Partly unfold the other 5 circles

Glue 4 pieces to the base and 1 at the top
Add distress ink and/or glitter to make them stand out on your projects.

Finished samples

Here I've used the frame to make a mini shaker card embellishment with one of the tiny pictures from Memory Lane Project of the Month Kit or buy extra sheets Here.
All the little flowers come in the kit along with some beautiful adhesive pearls that finish your project perfectly. Card blank is called Fanciful card.

Here I've made another shaker card from the stunning silver oval frame with added silver accents and flowers brushed with silver glitter.
Card blank can be cut to size from Straight edge 203mm x 203mm card.

The frame on this card has been used as a mirror on a dressing table (cut on a eclips machine)
The chandelier in the background is the Bohemian 8x8 free spirit paper for the Project of the Month Kit.
Card blank used is a Scallop edge 203mmx 203mm card.

So there we go guys a tutorial and a few cards for you, hope you like them and give them a try,
